Home Health Care Philosophy
There's no place like home. For many patients, that's just what the doctor may order for a speedy recovery. Home health care, provided by A2Z Health Care Service, is a service for persons who are too sick or disabled to care for themselves, but well enough not to be admitted to a hospital or nursing home.
Studies indicate that patients who stay at home, or return home to recover, may get better more quickly.
A2Z Health Care Service is recognized for the quality and scope of its service. Its goal is to preserve and improve each patient's life at home by emphasizing independence and self-involvement in the care process.
Carefully Selected Staff Members
A2Z Health Care Service employs health care professionals in a variety of areas. Our registered nurses are graduates of approved schools of nursing and are licensed to practice in Illinois. Therapists and medical social workers hold bachelor or master's degrees from approved schools. Home health aides have completed approved training courses. Home Care encourages its staff to improve and update their knowledge by attending seminars and conferences.
Areas ServedThe service area includes portions of Cook, Will, Lake and DuPage counties.
For many patients whose medical situation is not critical, home health care services are considerably less expensive than comparable hospital services. Payment for in-home services can be covered by Medicare and private Insurance. When coverage is not available, patients can make other arrangements for payment. Service is available to all persons, regardless of race, color, sex, religion, age national origin, handicap, or ability to pay.
